The Pay&Plan service, on the other hand, offers you the possibility of dividing one or more purchases made in the last 3 months into convenient installments.

The installments are paid monthly, and are debited on the same day of each month on which the loan was initially disbursed. The first installment is then debited from your account the month after the loan is disbursed.
For example, if you receive the loan on February 4th, the first installment will be debited on March 4th.

The NIR (nominal interest rate) is the pure interest rate that applies to the loan, expressed as a percentage, on an annual basis. It does not include any transaction costs other than the interest rate.

The APR (annual percentage rate) is the measure that indicates the global cost of the loan and includes, in addition to interest, any other cost or expense charged to the customer.

The APR is calculated by adding the interest and costs or ancillary expenses to the loan and dividing the result by the actual payments provided for in the repayment plan, unlike the NIR, which is calculated on an annual basis. For this reason, in the event of monthly installment payments, the APR is always higher than the NIR, even in the absence of additional costs or expenses compared to the interest rate.

The APR performs an informational function, and acts as an indicator of the cost of the loan: the lower the APR, the cheaper the loan.

Failure to pay or a delay in payment of the installments can have serious consequences, including, by way of example and not limited to, the forced sale of assets. The defaulting customer may also be reported in the Credit Information Systems used by the Bank, resulting in greater difficulties in obtaining further credit from the banking system in the future.  In the event of an initial report to a Credit Information System, the Bank will notify the customer in advance of this circumstance, indicating all the data relating to the report.

The non-payment or delayed payment of the installments also entails the debit of interest on arrears to the extent indicated in the loan agreement, calculated on the principal amount due at the expiry of each installment, without the need for formal notice. Furthermore, the generation of interest on arrears, to the same extent, on the portion of interest due at the expiry of each installment, in the cases and in the ways provided for by art. 1283 of the Civil Code.
