To open the BBVA Online Current Account, the following requirements are required:

• Being 18 years old.
• Being a resident of Italy.
• Having a compatible smartphone.
• Being in possession of one of the required identification documents.

To open your current account, you can use one of these valid documents:

• Electronic Italian identity card.
• Driver's license.

Interest is paid monthly and credited directly to your BBVA Checking Account in the first few days of the following month, net of withholding tax.

The maximum balance to which the remuneration applies is 1 million euros. No interest accrues on amounts exceeding this sum.

Si remunera il saldo del Conto Corrente BBVA più quello del Salvadanaio Digitale, se attivo. The accrued interest is fully credited to your BBVA Checking Account.  

The reward is not subject to any time constraints: you can withdraw the amounts present in your BBVA Checking Account at any time. 

Alla chiusura del Salvadanaio Digitale, gli interessi maturati dal primo giorno del mese fino al giorno di chiusura sono liquidati e accreditati sul Conto Corrente BBVA al netto della ritenuta fiscale.

No interest accrues in the month in which the BBVA Checking Account is closed.

La remunerazione sarà garantita a lungo termine. Ti informeremo ogni 3 mesi sul nuovo tasso d'interesse, che sarà sempre in linea con le condizioni di mercato.

Firstly, you will have to block the card using one of these two options: 

• From bbva.it, from the BBVA App or by calling the toll-free number 800 17 26 39 or +39 02 30301081 if you are abroad.  
• Da bbva.it o dall’App BBVA selezionando “Limita funzionalità” e disattivando la carta con la funzione On/Off.

If you choose the option to deactivate the card, you can reactivate it whenever you want, without requiring a new debit card.

In the event of theft, we remind you to always report it to the police.

The debit card has insurance associated with it that offers you coverage against theft of cash withdrawn at ATMs and against possible damage to or theft of products purchased with the BBVA card. The insurance covers:

• Any theft of cash when withdrawing from ATMs using your BBVA card, up to a maximum of €500 per year. 
• The payment of cash to the policyholder (debit cardholder) provided it has been withdrawn from an ATM using the BBVA Card.
• I furti avvenuti contro la volontà del titolare della carta, mediante atti di intimidazione o di violenza sulle persone.

Cases excluded from coverage:

• Quando l'assicurato è complice della rapina. 
• When the theft occurs without violence or threat to people.
• Claims that occur as a result of political, social and/or supervening acts.

The insured person needs to make a report, accurately indicating the time and place where the theft occurred, provide proof and prove that you are the cardholder. This information must be sent through the established channels.
